Royal Exhibition Building

Australia being the new world has very few monuments/buildings which can boast of being part of the world heritage.  And yet, in the heart of Melbourne, there is this 120 year building which in 2004 founds its way into UNESCO World Heritage list. This time, on a lazy walk around Melbourne, was able to click a few snaps of its brilliant exterior and the iconic fountain. The Carlton gardens surrounding it are a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.
